I have a formation of musician
(jazz guitar)
and at the same time I had a passion for nature and
pictures. So the photography allow me to bring back a little wild
nature at home and to be able contemplate it up to satiety. These
treasures were discovered in some kilometres from there, I could study
details and dream to discover many others. My field of investigation
widened in all High Chain of Jura mountain (my native region) with
chamois, birds of
preys and the mountain flora, it was for me a fantastic "playground".
From 17 years old I began traveling in France, then wanting to discover new marvels, the sirens of the distant
lands didn't to be long to calling me!
So I lived in Canada and I could discover this huge continent
which is North America and to feel the shock of a breathtaking wild nature. The sumptuous western territories and the fabulous precolombian's city more in the south, it remains one of the most beautifull memory of travel. Coming down always more to the South, in Central America, I saw
for the first time of my life, in the Péten aera in Guatemala,
a tropical primary forest (not altered by human): gigantic trees,
monkeys, toucans and their brillant colors and the sounds of everywhere
made me turn the head of happiness so was intense in sensations! Ever
this day, that's in Borneo or Madagascar, these forests seriously
threatened by the deforestation didn't stop fascinating me; It is
necessary to say also that the meeting with the botanist Francis
Hallé
(Raft Of the Summits) is not foreign to this interest which I have for plants and these ecosystems in particular.
South Africa is a country very interesting for his diversity: the savanna in the North (Kruger
park) with the emblematic "Big Five", Drakensberg mountains in the
Kwazulu Natal and the specialy vegetation of Fymbos and the famous plants, the Proteas, in
the South.
Now I live on the Réunion island and I discover this incredible
variety of landscapes and this natural wealth which do one of
"Hot Spot" world biodiversity. Volcano, Indian Ocean while
passing by the circus (caldera) and of course the primary forest, it's
impossible to resist to the charm of this island!
